There wasn’t much joy for East after that as Kaif and Parvinder stitched together a 184-run partnership for the fourth wicket. As in his partnership with Raina on Tuesday, Kaif was the more watchful one, while Parvinder was more adventurous, hitting 13 fours and a couple of sixes in his 113.Parvinder’s innings continues his successful season – four of his five career first-class centuries have come in 2009-10. Kaif, meanwhile, crossed a career milestone, reaching 7000 first-class runs when on 75. East were unable to prise out a wicket till just before stumps, when Ashok Dinda bowled Parvinder.
